60 Touch Program for Real Estate Agents

Real estate agents intuitively know we should stay in touch with our sphere of influence (our database) but often get bogged down in the “how to” of putting together a touch program. When do I start? Where do I start?

Let’s simplify this.

In the picture above (downloadable) is a sheet from the Millionaire Real Estate Agent Playbook 2.  Here are some key take-aways.

  • Feel free to modify this program in whatever way you choose.

  • You can do the whole “60” touch program or you can pick and choose, ie, do only the 12 Direct mail pieces and the 36 emails or you any combination that works for you and your plan. Of course, if the model is 60, you may consider doing all 60. Start somewhere. Start now.

  • Start with an idea of the value you add to those you wish to work with. For instance, if you want to work with real estate investors, your 4 Events could be quarterly zoom events with your current client list and let prospects sit in while you give the latest economic news on rents, interest rates, vacancies, etc. That’s information rental property owners are always appreciative of.

  • Don't start everyone on the same plan on the same day. Maybe 10 per day for the next two to three weeks. This way when their name pops up again you'll actually have the time and system to help them.

TIP: Set up calendar reminders 30 days before each of your touches to remind you to have them prepared to go out on time. Always be thinking 30 days ahead.

Pay special attention to the “Things to Consider” section of the handout. Give this some real thought as you go through your planning.

Lastly, “Be who you are.” Remember, when we try to appeal to everybody we mostly appeal to nobody. If you look like everyone else and act like everyone else why should they consider you? Sure, be the best version of you. Just be you.
